Bear River Lodge Family Reunion

Bear River Lodge up at Bear Lake is having a special on their cabin rentals right now. I called and got the details and here they are. The special is buy one night get each additional night 1/2 off. Week nights are $800 a night per cabin, and weekends are $900 a night.

We could do a three night stay, maybe like a Wednesday, Thursday, Friday on any of these dates.


June 23-25
July 28-30
August 18-20

Or any weekend after that in August on out. We could also switch out to a Thursday, Friday, Saturday any of those times. Just depending on if people would want to stay over night to Sunday. I assumed that every family would not be able to come or stay the whole time so these details are counting 50 people. If EVERYONE could come it would just be a little more per family/person, depending on how we decide to pay.

For three nights with one weekend night it would cost about $3500. That would be renting 2 cabins that have 5 bedrooms and can house up to 25 people.
For four nights including one weekend night it would cost about $4400. That would be renting the same 2 cabins.
If we chose to do two weekend nights it just tacks on 50 per cabin to the total, so $100 in all.

The options are running out so if we want to do it we need to respond soonish. We just need to get a count of how many people would be interested in going. If you are interested in going which dates work best (we will go with majority) and if you would want to stay in a cabin or camp.

Girl's Night Out

Our first get together is going to be a scrap/card making class from Katie's good friend Holly. It is being held on Friday, February 26 at 7:00 p.m.

Directions for Lindon class: this is my mom’s house… from 1-15, take the Lindon exit, Head east to 400 west and make a left. Continue for a mile or so till you come to 60 north, there is no light or stop sign, turn right on 60 north. Between the last two houses on the right there is a lane, turn right onto this lane and you’ll pass a house on the left and then end up at 327 west. Call if you get lost... This is our place. A place for all of us to share news of any kind. Its a place to hopefully help us all stay in touch a little better. On the side is a list of all the blogs that we are aware of in our family. If you have one and we don't know, leave a comment and we will add you. If you don't want yours on here let us know and we will take it off. Some blogs are private and if you would like to view them, let us know and we will add you. If you want to be an author on this blog let us know and we will add you. The more authors the better. Many people are unaware of all the blogs so there may be a lot of adding to do, which is great.

We want to do a family reunion this year so give some input. Let us know months that may work best for your family and your ideas on what to do. We will try to do our best to accommodate the majority.


FAMILY REUNION- It does not have to be big and elaborate, or it can be. We can do a day at the park, or a week at Disney Land. Maybe another trip to Tabiona or just up at the Dell.

Girls Night Out- We just need them sometimes. Maybe just a night to chat or do scrapbooks. To have MaryAnn teach us how to sew or Katie, Jen or Shell teach us how to decorate cakes. An overnighter in SLC or a trip to NYC.

Guy Time- Go out to see that action packed movie or hit nicklekade like the good old days. We cant forget hitting a bucket of balls or maybe even the whole nine yards and play 18 holes. Go for a hike or do whatever guys do.

Don't forget the kids- A day at the park, jump on it, the dinosaur museum, Cabellas, or just a cousins house to have a change of scenery. They could do a movie night or make cookies........the list goes on.
